Managing lymphoedema and lipoedema is a lifelong journey, and my primary goal as your practitioner has always been to provide you with a comprehensive, specialised support you need to stay independent and healthy.
As we look toward the new financial year, I want to share an important update regarding my services, commitment to your care, and an upcoming fee adjustment starting on 1st July.
Why Specialised Care Demands Dedicated Time
Complex Lymphatic Therapy (CLT) is not a one-size-fits-all treatment. It requires highly specialized skills, continuous training, and, most importantly, dedicated time.
To ensure I never have to compromise on the quality of your treatment sessions, the fees for CLT will adjust on 1st July. This adjustment allows me to maintain the clinic resources required to deliver the thorough, unhurried care your body needs.
When you book a session with me, my fee covers the full spectrum of successful lymphoedema management:
Uncompromised Treatment Time: Giving you the full allocation needed for Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and customised multilayer bandaging for lymphoedema.
Expert Garment Fitting: Allowing dedicated time for accurate medical compression garment measurements to ensure comfort and effectiveness.
Comprehensive Self-Management: Investing time in individualised education, exercise advice, and holistic health guidance so you can manage your condition confidently at home.
Maximizing Your Private Health Insurance Rebates
I understand that managing a chronic condition comes with financial considerations. I want to remind you how to best utilise private health insurance to offset these costs:
For MLD Treatments: Depending on your provider and level of extras cover, you may be eligible for a rebate on your therapy sessions.
For Medical Compression Garments: Most private health funds offer rebates on prescribed medical compression garments. However, insurers strictly require a current referral from your doctor to process garment claims.
Looking Ahead
Any treatment blocks or individual appointments completed before 1st July will be fully honoured at the current rate.
